There are a handful of quests in Tears of the Kingdom that are tied to a traveling musical troupe called the Stable Trotters. The group of musicians meets at the Woodland Stable, but several members are missing – Link has to travel far and wide to track down the remaining members, but they don't just come along. Each offers a unique quest, sometimes involving their rescue.

Honey, Bee Mine is one such quest in Tears of the Kingdom involving the Stable Trotters' drum player. The drummer can be heard from a pretty far distance away, which can Link directly to his location once close by. He sends the player on a quest to collect honey, but Link can save some time by looking for bees – or completing another Musician's quest – before heading to the drummer in Tears of the Kingdom.

The NPC players will want to look for is named Beetz – an appropriate name for a drum player. From Kakariko Village, which itself is located in the mountains a few minutes southwest from Lookout Landing, head along the road that continues west past the village until it comes to a curve. Around this curve, players should hear the sound of a rhythmic drum beat – other NPCs in the area may hint at its location, like a Gerudo traveler who asks Link about the drumming.

Follow the sound, or simply climb the rocky cliffs to reach the coordinates (2166, -1382, 0108). Here, players will find the source of the sound, the drummer Beetz, whose name also alludes to his quest objective. Beetz wants to make some crepes but requires Courser Bee Honey. There are two ways players can approach this quest: by collecting Courser Bee Honey out in the wild, or completing another Stable Trotters-related quest near Rito Village.

Where To Find Courser Bee Honey

The first, and arguably simplest, method of acquiring Courser Bee Honey is to simply run around a forest and look for honeycombs poking from the bottom of tree branches above. After Link grabs one of these, though, he may be swarmed by bees until he can escape. There are a lot of trees near the drummer, so Link can forage for a bit without going too far.

However, if players want to be more efficient with their Tears of the Kingdom quests, there's another musician who needs help near the Tabantha Bridge. The Hornist for the Stable Trotters fell down a pit, and needs Link's help to get out. Found at coordinates (-3644, 0768, 0117), completing The Hornist's Dramatic Escape quest rewards exactly 3 Courser Bee Honey. Plus, it puts Link one step closer to fully reuniting the band.

After bringing the Courser Bee Honey back to Beetz, he will rejoice and give Link a Silver Rupee, worth 100 Rupees. As mentioned, he will also go and re-join the Stable Trotters at the Woodland Stable. Completing Honey, Bee Mine progresses the overarching story of the troupe.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
