Stables and horses have been a staple of the Legend of Zelda franchise for years, and Tears of the Kingdom is no different. There are a number of stables across Hyrule that Link can go to in order to rest, interact with NPCs, and register horses. If the player wants to travel across the map faster and bond with wild horses in the game, stables are a must. Here is every stable location in Tears of the Kingdom.

What Do Stables Do in Tears of the Kingdom?

Legend of Zelda Stable

Stables are a huge part of Tears of the Kingdom, often serving as a central hub for all the latest goings-on at Hyrule. There are a number of Side Quests directly triggered by NPCs at Stables, as well as standard stable services like:

  • Boarding/Registering Horses: As in Breath of the Wild, players can register wild horses at stables as well as take out any horses previously registered.
  • Sleeping to Recover Health: Sleeping at the inns in stables will restore all lost health. Certain stables will offer special beds that offer increased maximum hearts or stamina.
  • Pony Points: Pony Points are a mechanic new in Tears of the Kingdom. They act as a loyalty rewards program for every stable on the Map. Players can earn Pony Points by visiting new stables, registering new horses, and using the inn service.
  • Beedle: Beedle is a Traveling Merchant that can be found at every stable. His stock rotates depending on the stable, but he will always stock arrows and various bugs.
  • Penn and the Lucky Gazette: Once the player has visited the Lucky Gazette (formerly a stable) and signed up to work there, they will see Penn at every stable they go to, which triggers a number of Side Quests related to the paper.
