In Tears of the Kingdom, the Yiga Clan makes a comeback, maintaining their stronghold in the heart of the Gerudo Desert. These enigmatic Sheikah ninjas present distinctive combat obstacles for Link, showcasing their teleportation abilities and extreme love of bananas.

In Tears of the Kingdom, players will primarily encounter Yiga members within the Depths, where they can be found toying with Zonai technologies to create powerful tools of destruction. The Yiga Clan Hideout, however, is located on Hyrule's surface and offers valuable and exclusive items that Link will definitely want to obtain on his journey. Here’s where to locate the Yiga Clan Hideout in Tears of the Kingdom.

Where to Find the Yiga Clan Hideout in Tears of the Kingdom

In Tears of the Kingdom, the Yiga Clan's base of operations is still located within Gerudo Desert, at coordinates -3687. -1366, 0331. Those who have played the previous installment in the series, Breath of the Wild, will likely recall their stealthy exploits within the base. Their previous infiltration involved a lot of sneaking around while pilfering their precious bananas.

Since those events, the Yiga Clan Hideout has undergone significant renovations. It now features additional areas for Link to navigate, including a market offering exclusive wares. Additionally, a combat challenge awaits Link within the hideout, with the ultimate prize being an enhanced version of Breath of the Wild’s Thunder Helm known as the Lightning Helm.

Most notably, Link is no longer required to do all that sneaking: he can only enter the Hideout upon donning the Yiga Clan armor set, granting him unrestricted access to their base and the ability to interact with the Yiga.

How to Get to the Yiga Clan Hideout in Tears of the Kingdom

The most efficient way to reach the Yiga Clan Hideout is to teleport to the Gerudo Highland Skyview Tower. After fast traveling to this point, Link should exit the cave using Ascend, then head southeast to the cliff's edge and glide into the Canyon toward the Hideout's location. There is no reason to use the tower's sky launch capability.

The Gerudo Highland Skyview Tower can be unlocked very early in the game, making it relatively unnecessary to deal with much of the Canyon's terrible weather en route to the Yiga Clan Hideout. Players may wish to bring appropriate cold protection and heat protection to deal with the harsh temperatures they will likely encounter, though the Hideout is so close by it won't be difficult to travel without.

The player should then jump off the cliff at coordinates -3815, -1370, 0427 and glide deep into the Canyon to reach the Hideout. There is an opening at around coordinates -3735, -1420, 0361 that the player should glide into to ensure they have descended enough.

Alternately, the player can choose to face the dangers of the Gerudo Desert head-on by entering through the Gerudo Canyon Pass. The entrance to this pass can be found just beyond the Digdogg Suspension Bridge at coordinates -1650, -2049, -0015.

Upon arriving at this location, Link will encounter Naia, a Gerudo woman who guards the entrance. Naia will challenge Link to prove his desert survival skills by answering a series of straightforward questions. While it is possible to bypass her by gliding over or navigating the surrounding hills, answering her three simple questions is easy enough.

If traveling from the entrance of the Gerudo Canyon Pass, traversing the Gerudo Desert without completing the Regional Phenomena main quest will be both challenging and annoying, as the desert is plagued by constant sandstorms and extreme temperatures. These sandstorms have rendered the map on Link's Purah Pad mostly unreliable, although it still displays coordinates.

Given the vastness of the desert, it is advisable for Link to utilize his Ultrahand ability to create a simple Zonai vehicle. This will significantly expedite his travels across the desert, making the journey more manageable.
