A Call from the Depths is a side adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that players can initiate by speaking with the Goddess Statue at the Temple of Time Ruins after draining the water at coordinates -0561, -1506, 0018. This quest centers around delivering four stone eyes to a statue in the Depths, and fans can earn a Heart Container or Stamina Vessel by completing it. This guide is here to help players claim those rewards, and a full walkthrough of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's A Call from the Depths quest can be found below.

Before players dive into the following walkthrough, they may want to take a moment to activate the Tadarok Shrine at coordinates -1082, -2187, 0129. To reach this location, fans must enter the cave behind the waterfall on the south side of the River of the Dead, and they can use Ascend to make a quick exit. While it is certainly not requisite that players visit this Shrine, turning it into a fast travel point makes the Call from the Depths quest much less tedious.

It is also worth mentioning that if a Tears of the Kingdom player loses track of an eye, they should check the location where they found it initially. Indeed, the stone eyes will seemingly respawn near their original positions on the surface, even if they are misplaced within the Depths.

Statue Location

The first thing that players should know is that the Call from the Depths statue is located at coordinates - 0775, -1899, -0564, at the Depths' Great Abandoned Central Mine. To bring the eyes to this position, Zelda fans are advised to target the stairs at coordinates -0909, -2018, -0579, as they lead directly to it. The exception to this recommendation is Eye #4, and details on how to transport it can be found below.

Eye #1

The first eye can be found at coordinates -0472, -1993, 0772 in the Eastern Abbey. To reveal it, players must destroy the pile of cracked rocks with a TotK Bomb Flower or a suitable melee weapon. Once the eye has been found, players should use Ultrahand to drop it into the nearby Great Plateau East Chasm and then follow.

Upon landing, players should head southwest to coordinates -0498, -2026, -0522. Here, fans will find a track, and they should use TotK's Ultrahand ability to assemble a fan-powered cart on top of it. Players should then use this cart to transport the eye to the aforementioned stairs, climb to the statue, and rotate the object until it can be slotted into a hole.

Eye #2

The second eye is in a pool of water near coordinates -0686, -1543, 0066, and players can extract it with Ultrahand. When that is done, fans should drop the eye into the nearby Great Plateau North Chasm and use TotK's paraglider to descend into the Depths.

In the Depths, players should carry the eye southward to reach the Forge within the Great Abandoned Central Mine. Fans can now jump down from this area to access the stairs the lead to the Depths statue.

Eye #3

The third eye is under a rock at coordinates -0951, -2325, -0170, which can be moved with Ultrahand. Once the eye is accessible, fans should pick it up, drop it into the Great Plateau South Chasm, and send TotK's Link downward.

For the underground transport of this eye, players should carry the object up the stairs near coordinates - 0932, -2320, -0536 to reach an area with many Zonai devices. Fans should now use these devices to create a fan- and rocket-powered glider, like the one depicted in the image that is above, and then fly the eye northward. Players that travel in this direction will soon see the relevant stairs below, and they should land and carry the eye to the statue.

Eye #4

The final eye is encased in ice at coordinates -1437, -1980, 0231, and players will need to release it with something like TotK's Fire Fruit. When the eye is free, players should send it into the Great Plateau West Chasm and prepare themselves for the transport in the Depths.

With respect to how this transport is to be approached, players should use the fan-powered elevator at coordinates -1437, -2004, -0674 to ascend with the eye. Players should then use Ultrahand to place a fan-powered cart on the tracks at coordinates -1396, -2056, -0644 and ride to the Hylia Canyon Mine. Here, players should ascend the stairs and place a second fan-powered cart on the track at coordinates -1063, -2321, -0654.

This second cart will take players to the Great Abandoned Central Mine, and there is a fan-powered elevator directly next to the end of the track (coordinates -0828, -1182, -0660). Fans should ride this elevator up as far as possible, and they will stop very near to the statue at coordinates - 0775, -1899, -0564.
