A creative The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player managed to construct a unique lawnmower using the game’s extensive systems for fusing, crafting, and building stuff. The Tears of the Kingdom community has embraced the freedom to create awesome devices, and this is just the latest of many inventive creations in the new Zelda game.

It’s safe to say that Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been one of the biggest hits of 2023 so far, with some fans waiting 72 hours in line to get it on the first day. This success, however, is not entirely built on the hype of being the sequel to the loved Breath of the Wild, but from the unique ways that the new Zelda allows players to tweak its systems, building unique vehicles, weapons, and tools that allow them to express their creativity in the most unexpected ways and then share the results with others online.

Now, a Tears of the Kingdom player decided to create a powerful lawnmower to harvest wheat, an important material in the game. KnollingStone wanted to improve the efficiency of the otherwise manual process, so they came up with a fairly simple, but effective device: a giant lawnmower that cut grass and kills everything in its way. By attaching a few planks of wood to five wheels (one of them with a sword), this gamer was able to automate the process of essentially cutting grass, as well as every critter that appeared in their way, as it can be seen in the video shared by the player. However, despite the impressive results, KnollingStone was still unsatisfied, as they did not want to kill the critters.

Many players on the Reddit post were pretty thrilled about KnollingStone’s new project and genuinely impressed by how much players can do using the new Ultrahand and Fuse abilities in Zelda. A few gamers gave the builder some ideas on how to solve the problem, such as putting the sword higher in the machine, so the critters wouldn’t be affected by it, or putting the sword on a different angle, so it would have limited contact with the ground.

This is far from the only player who managed to get amazing results with the crafting system. Soon after the launch, one gamer was able to create a multistage rocket in Tears of the Kingdom. The results were a rocket that was able to fly impressively high, despite not being able to reach the Great Sky area above Hyrule.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for Nintendo Switch.
