An unexpected Shadow Brute has randomly appeared on a Stardew Valley player's farm, seemingly trapping the monster there indefinitely. Although a Shadow Brute isn't generally something Stardew Valley players would find on their farms, it's an interesting surprise, to say the least.

Stardew Valley's devoted player base has grown exponentially since the game's release back in 2016. The indie darling has attracted both hardcore gamers and those who had never even played a video game beforehand. The open-ended farming simulator has constantly attracted fans with the ability it gives players to relax while exploring the town of Stardew Valley. With the freedom it gives players to choose how they wish to interact with the game, some may have come across monsters known as Shadow Brutes while exploring the mines. As a mine-dwelling enemy, a Shadow Brute wouldn't usually be seen anywhere else in the game, but one player has been plagued with one a little too close to home.

For one Stardew Valley player known as _AliceHills_ on Reddit, a Shadow Brute has randomly spawned on their farm and hasn't left since it appeared. The poor Shadow Brute spawned behind a bush, causing the creature to become stuck and unable to move anywhere, cementing its spot on the farm for what may end up being an eternity.

Although a Shadow Brute is usually seen as an enemy, _AliceHills_ seems to enjoy that the shadowy creature is there to greet her every morning on the farm. Since Shadow Brutes spawn in dark places, some fellow fans of Stardew Valley may not even know what one of these mine monsters looks like in proper lighting. Despite being an enemy in the game, the Shadow Brute is actually quite cute, so it's no wonder why it's pleasant to be greeted by in the morning.

Whether due to a glitch or just pure randomness, having a Shadow Brute as a decoration on one's farm is a fun occurrence that has made this fan's particular Stardew Valley experience completely unique from all the other players, as far as it's known. Since it's well known throughout the gaming world that Stardew Valley is one of the most relaxing gaming experiences one can have, it's funny to see that even an enemy can accidentally become a cute ornament to make one's farm their own. This happy accident serves as a great example of why Stardew Valley is still so popular; mistakes and glitches can even be charming.

Stardew Valley is available now for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
