Amazon Prime has confirmed its latest slate of free games for June 2023. Amazon’s gaming wing offers free games to anyone who subscribes to Amazon Prime. For June, Amazon is offering 13 free games. They won’t be available all at once, so be sure to keep checking in with Amazon Prime Gaming to snatch up the new freebies as they are made available.
Amazon Prime Gaming’s monthly slate of free games can be accessed via its website. The games can also be found on the Amazon Games launcher where thrifty gamers can acquire their free games by navigating to the “Free Games with Prime” tab on the bar to the left. By simply clicking the “Claim” button attached to the thumbnail, the game gets automatically added to the library to be installed at their convenience. May's free Amazon Prime games included the Nintendo 64 flight combat game Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3D.
Perhaps the biggest, most prestigious game being offered on Amazon Prime Gaming in June 2023 is the highly acclaimed RPG Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition. The third-person isometric action RPG is set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe and is based on the Forgotten Realms campaign setting. It was originally released in 2002 and was co-developed by two legendary powerhouse studios that specialize in RPGs: BioWare, the makers of the Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises, and Obsidian Entertainment, the makers of Fallout: New Vegas and the Pillars of Eternity games.

June is a packed month for Amazon Prime Gaming’s free game giveaways. On offer beginning June 1 will be a pair of arcade-style side-scrolling beat’em-ups Mutation Nation and Sengoku 2. The theme for June 8 is sports games, which brings the combat soccer game Soccer Brawl and the racing game Over Top, originally released by SNK in 1996. The Super Spy and Top Hunter, a couple of old-school action games, will be available on June 15.
The tail end of June is when Amazon Prime members can expect to get their hands on a free copy of Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition if they want to experience literally hundreds of hours in the D&D universe created by some of the gaming industry’s best writing teams. Available that same day is the twin-stick rogue-lite Revita and the adorable agriculture and crafting sim Autonauts. June’s free games come to an end on the 29th when the Match 3 game Gems of Destiny: Homeless Dwarf and the well-reviewed comedic point-and-click adventure game Once Upon a Jester become available for free.
