The popular YouTube streamer IShowSpeed leaked the personal phone number of fellow streamer KSI live on stream. The pair of streamers have been recently engaged in a lighthearted beef wherein the two have taken a series of playful jabs at each other. The release of KSI’s phone number is the latest escalation of their ongoing feud that may culminate in an officially sanctioned boxing match if the often controversial IShowSpeed is to be believed.
KSI, who recently admitted to accidentally giving away a pair of $20,000 shoes for free, is a London-based YouTube streamer, rapper, and boxer. He initially rose to fame by posting commentary on FIFA video game footage. He has since become one of the biggest streamers around, so big that he’s recently opened a popular restaurant chain in the U.K. called Sides. IShowSpeed is a younger, newer streamer and rapper based out of Ohio. His streams mostly involve FIFA, Roblox, and Fortnite. IShowSpeed began streaming in 2017 but has quickly gained an enormous following. He won the Breakout Streamer of the Year award at the 2022 Streamy Awards.
IShowSpeed accidentally revealed KSI’s phone number while live-capturing his phone during a stream to his 10 million YouTube subscribers. IShowSpeed contacted KSI as soon as he realized what he had done. He quickly called KSI to apologize and to warn KSI of the flood of calls he was about to receive. Some are already speculating that this might be a ploy by IShowSpeed to get into KSI’s head the day before KSI enters the ring for a big boxing match.
All this comes shortly after IShowSpeed proposed a boxing match of his own between him and KSI. While the match is in no way official yet, the proposition stemmed from IShowSpeed feeling slighted by KSI during a Q&A session with fans wherein KSI was asked if he even liked IShowSpeed. KSI laughed off the question before playfully suggesting that he no longer likes the rival streamer after IShowSpeed predicted that KSI would lose a May 13 boxing match against 40-year-old former professional light heavyweight boxer Joe Fournier. This match poses a challenge for KSI, whose previous boxing experience had him in bouts with fellow YouTubers like Jake and Logan Paul.
This isn’t the first time IShowSpeed has leaked KSI’s phone number. Back in July 2022, IShowSpeed was navigating KSI’s Instagram page live on stream when he clicked the “Contact” link thinking an email address would pop up. Instead, KSI’s personal phone number was on full display for thousands to see. Shortly thereafter, KSI tweeted that his phone was ringing off the hook. IShowSpeed immediately recorded himself apologizing to KSI. Should the rivalry end up getting settled in the ring, expect KSI to make plenty of demands to tilt the scales in his favor.
