Hogwarts Legacy is giving players another opportunity to get Merlin's Cloak and the Professor Ronen Cosmetic Set. Avalanche Software, the developer of Hogwarts Legacy, listened to fans who felt they weren't given ample chances to obtain Merlin's Cloak, while also surprising them with brand-new content.

Originally, Avalanche Software only intended to have two occasions for fans to get Merlin's Cloak. First, during the pre-launch stream of Hogwarts Legacy, then during the main release stream. But later on, due to feedback from players, the studio realized it didn't take into account different time zones, not to mention that both streams were on a weekday. Since then Avalanche has corrected its mistake and hosted a stream titled "Legacy Live," during which fans were once again given the opportunity to snag Merlin's Cloak. Additionally, Avalanche will also be giving away the Professor Ronen Cosmetic Set, brand-new wardrobe items players won't be able to find anywhere else. The set includes spectacles, gloves, an outfit, a robe, a tasseled kufi, and a scarf.

On Hogwarts Legacy's Twitter account, the news was announced that a brand-new Legacy Live has been scheduled for June 1. The Twitch stream will start at 9 am PT and gamers will have to watch for at least 30 minutes in order to be eligible for the free DLC. Once enough time has passed a notification will appear, letting the viewer know that they've received Merlin's Cloak and the Ronen set. However, only those with a WB Games account will be able to get the item, and they will need to link it to their Twitch account.

The last Legacy Live was on May 5, which was the release date of Hogwarts Legacy for PS4 and Xbox One. This launched a new wave of Twitch Drops which will end on June 1. On top of Merlin's Cloak, brand-new cosmetic items were added as rewards for viewers, not just for Legacy Live, but for any other streamer who plays Hogwarts Legacy with Twitch Drops enabled.

It's more than likely this won't be the last opportunity for players to get new cosmetic items or even Merlin's Cloak. While plenty of gamers have been enjoying Hogwarts Legacy already, those with a Nintendo Switch are still waiting for the game to be released in November. Therefore, Avalanche Software will likely give plenty of opportunities to those fans as well to own the rare item. It's also possible they'll release even more brand-new cosmetic items to go along with it.

Hogwarts Legacy is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, and a Nintendo Switch port dropping on November 14.
