A leak revealed that the next class in Diablo Immortal may be the Blood Knight, an old acquaintance of veteran Diablo players. Diablo Immortal is the first game in the series for mobile devices, but despite being a spin-off, Diablo Immortal is still set in the Diablo universe.

Set after the events of the Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction expansion and before the start of Diablo 3, Diablo Immortal's timeline tells a story where humanity must deal with the consequences of Archangel Tyrael's actions. After battling and defeating Baal, Archangel Tyrael is considered dead, and the fragments of the Worldstone have spread throughout the world. The main antagonist in Diablo Immortal is Skarn, a powerful demon who is also the final boss of the game's main questline. Skarn's goal is to gather the corrupted fragments of the Worldstone to resurrect Diablo and destroy the Sanctuary.

According to leaker DataMineARPG, the new Diablo Immortal class may be the Blood Knight, one of the characters from the Diablo franchise that players saw in the first game. The Blood Knight is a variant of the Hell Knights and the last Knight class enemy found in Diablo 1. This character is dangerous even in small groups, mainly because of its immunity to spells and fire-based attacks. DataMineARPG shared an image that they say "clearly shows the Blood Knight" fighting enemies and highlighting the class crest. Previously Blizzard shared an image with the silhouette of a red-eyed character, but it has not yet been officially announced what the new Diablo Immortal class will be.

Diablo Immortal has six classes, those being Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard. Diablo Immortal's new class will be added in July, with the leaker specifying a date of July 13. Another piece of info shared by DataMineARPG is that Blood Knight will be a strength-based class, a status that directly increases the physical damage dealt by the character. In addition to the new class, the upcoming Diablo Immortal update will add a new zone called Ancient's Cradle, a creepy island filled with new enemy types and rewards to earn in side quests.

Diablo Immortal's launch was quite controversial because of the monetization system, causing Blizzard to be fined by PEGI. Nevertheless, the game will celebrate its first anniversary this year, and Blizzard is preparing a big celebration to put Diablo Immortal in a more positive light. Blizzard will add a new zone and class, and hold a big crossover between Diablo 4 and Diablo Immortal, bringing a themed event and battle pass. In addition, Blizzard plans to delve into the origin story of Sanctuary through Diablo Immortal's new zone.

Diablo Immortal is now available to play on Mobile and PC.
