Techland has confirmed that Dying Light 2 will have a crossover with Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, bringing themed items for players. Dying Light 2 is the latest chapter in the series of open world zombie games.

Dying Light 2 features a story set 15 years after The Fall, the catastrophic event where a variant of the Harran virus spread across the world. Players take on the role of Aiden Caldwell, one of the survivors searching for his sister in this Modern Dark Age setting. Dying Light 2 also brings improvements over its predecessor, enhancing aspects such as combat and parkour mechanics.

Dying Light 2 will have a crossover with Call of Juarez: Gunslinger to celebrate 10 years of one of the best Western games. Named Undead or Alive, the event begins May 31 at 7 am PT / 10 am ET and ends June 7 at 7 am PT / 10 am ET. Dying Light 2 players will have the chance to obtain a Boomsticker gun that can only be discovered during the event. In collaboration with Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, players will also be able to find a special infected and find Postal Vans, Ambulances, and Military Trucks.

Dying Light 2 players will have special goals to complete during the event. By completing these goals, players will unlock exclusive items referencing Gunslinger, such as Ray McCall's amulet, Dynamite (blueprint), and a machete-like Bowie Knife (weapon and blueprint). Players will also get 25 Pilgrim Tokens to exchange for gear at the Pilgrim Outpost website. Techland also announced the Gunslinger Bundle, which costs $6.99 and will come with the skin of Silas Greaves, the protagonist of Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. The bundle also includes the Gunslinger Paraglider, Dynamite's blueprint, along with the Bowie Knife gun and blueprint.

Dying Light passed an impressive milestone this year, showing just how popular Techland's franchise still is. The series features an exciting combination of combat, an open world, and zombies, a theme that is already known but still attracts the public's attention. The collaboration between Dying Light 2 and Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is exciting, as it unites two Techland titles in one event, and is a must-play for gamers who are fans of both games.

Dying Light 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S with a Switch version also in development.
