A total of four new games have been announced for Xbox Game Pass that will be added to the service in June. The subscription service that can be described as Netflix for games has in excess of 300 games, with something to offer for just about every gamer. New games are added and removed constantly. For example, Xbox Game Pass got two new games today while a handful are scheduled to leave the service on May 31.

The service offers incredible value for gamers playing on Xbox and PC; every so often games get day-one releases on Xbox Game Pass. This is a huge incentive for gamers to subscribe to the service since in many cases a month's subscription costs less than buying a single game, especially some of the AAA titles featured on the platform.

While the four new games being added to the platform (alongside prior confirmations) might disappoint some Xbox Game Pass subscribers who had hoped for other games, they offer some variety in terms of different game styles and genres. There will also likely be more games added, keeping in mind that the announcements are usually left until the last minute. These titles represent a nice mixed bag of experiences to suit a variety of tastes. The Big Con sees players take on the role of a fledgling grifter in a comedic crime adventure, Hypnospace is a '90s internet simulator, Rune Factory 4 is a fantasy farming adventure, and Stacking is a puzzle-adventure title with stacking Russian dolls.

  • The Big Con (June 1 - PC, Cloud, Console)
  • Hypnospace Outlaw (June 6 - PC, Cloud, Console)
  • Rune Factory 4 Special (June 8 - PC, Cloud, Console)
  • Stacking (June 8 - Cloud and Console)

Other confirmed Xbox Game Pass titles include Car Mechanic Simulator 2021, which offers what some players might find a relaxing experience building a car service empire. Slayers X is an old-school shooter with a strong 90s aesthetic and a day-one release. Amnesia: The Bunker is another day-one release that survival horror fans will no doubt want to get their hands on, while Dordogne offers a more relaxing narrative-driven experience. As usual, there are a few games that are leaving the service; Europa Universalis 4, Evil Genius 2, FIFA 21, Floppy Knights, and Lawn Mowing Simulator are confirmed to be leaving on May 31, while more are expected to be confirmed over the coming weeks.

For those who have not tried out the service, there is a way they can get an Xbox Game Pass subscription for free thanks to a collaboration between Microsoft and Walmart. Those with a Walmart+ membership already get several benefits including free delivery, shipping, and Walmart Rewards. Two months of Game Pass Ultimate sweetens the pot, but it's worth noting this is only available to new Game Pass subscribers.
