With multiple most anticipated game awards as well as holding the top spot among Steam wishlisted games, Elden Ring had built up a ton of hype preceding its release date. Now, with a month in the books, many players agree that Elden Ring lived up to the hype and perhaps even exceeded it.

While the game certainly succeeded because of its more prominent features, such as its enormous open world as well as its challenging bosses like Elden Ring's Starscourge Radahn, one incredible feature of the game is revealed to players before their journey begins. That feature is the character editor, and it is incredible because of the level at which players can customize their character, especially their face.

Because of the creator's depth as well as the skill of players, tons of stunning/wacky characters have been created for the game. For example, one player created Berric Dondarrion from Game of Thrones in Elden Ring in the character creator, later going as far as to copy Berric's outfit and weaponry as closely as possible. Recently, another player used the character creator to build Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious, the Sith lord and primary antagonist of the Star Wars series.

The creator of the character was Reddit user Nomadianking who, like the creator of Berric, also used what weapons, armor, and magical effects they had at their disposal to further copy the character into the game. As opposed to some of the more hilarious character creations like handsome Squidward in Elden Ring, Nomadianking's Darth Sidious is stunning as well as startling. The face and hair of the character are both perfect, and Nomadianking also managed to get the "red eyes" effect on the character, making them look all the more accurate and menacing.

While the character is amazing, Nomadianking's video depicting it is just as cool. The video is full of Star Wars music as well as voice lines from Darth Sidious. The camera angles are perfect, with the camera sometimes showing Darth Sidious' face as well as the video ending with Darth Sidious watching his foe die while raising his arms to the sky; with the night sky and the moon in the background of the shot, it is truly a cinematic moment worthy of the Star Wars universe.

With each passing day, players like Nomadianking continue to come up with unique new characters in the creator, like Alucard from Castlevania in Elden Ring. Only time will tell what wacky or amazing characters players will be able to design next.

Elden Ring is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
