The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a game that encourages creativity, with players able to make all manner of weird and wonderful devices using the tools at their disposal. Some have used them to build horrific Korok torture devices, while others have thrown together state-of-the-art death bots that are capable of bringing down some of the game's toughest enemies all by themselves.

In addition to torturing Koroks and murdering Moblins, Zonai Devices can be incredibly useful when it comes to getting from A to B. The game encourages players to use Zonai Wing devices or hot air balloons, but a growing number of players are opting to make amazing Air Bikes instead. As well as being cheaper to create and much easier to control, these easy-to-assemble devices don't break after sixty seconds in the air, making them perfect for those hoping to cover longer distances.

All players need to make an Air Bike in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is two Fans and a Control Stick. These can either be obtained from Zonai Device Dispensers or found out in the world. Whichever the case, players should attach one of the Fans to the front of the Control Stick and the other one to the back. These can either be pointing straight down or pointing diagonally down and backward, as both configurations will work just fine.

Players should try their best to line the Fans up perfectly with the Control Stick, as even the slightest deviation can lead to some serious oversteer. If they do mess up though, they can simply grab one of the Fans and shake the right analog stick, which will detach it from the Control Stick and allow them to try again. Once they have the device exactly how they want it, they should use Auto Build and add it to their favorites by pressing the Y button, as this will enable them to build an Air Bike whenever they like for just nine pieces of Zonaite.

Those having trouble finding the components needed to build an Air Bike should head to the Great Abandoned Central Mine and grab one of the Wing Gliders there. If they fly this south toward the nearest Lightroot (Koradat Lightroot) and then veer left at the last minute, they'll find a rack full of components at coordinates -0967, -2333, -0519.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
