The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a large collection of armor and outfits that Link can collect. Every armor set in TotK either has an effect or looks like a previous character's outfit from another Zelda title. One of the many iconic outfits available in TotK is the Tingle outfit. For those unaware, Tingle is a man that believes he's a fairy or a reincarnated version of a fairy.
Tingle appears in games like Majora's Mask and The Wind Waker, and even has a couple of his own side adventure games like Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. In order to dress like him, Link will need to travel all over Hyrule and collect the Tingle Armor set one piece at a time.
How to Get Tingle's Hood in Tears of the Kingdom
The first part of Tingle's outfit is found in the Gerudo Highlands. Players can access this location through the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower, but they should make sure to bring along some warm clothes or some warming foods and elixirs. To the northwest of the Gerudo Summit, there is a statue called the Eighth Heroine Statue. This statue was important for a quest in BotW for getting sand and snow boots. The Statue is located at the coordinates (-4371,-0516, 0470).
Tingle's hat is located inside the caves of the statue, so players will have to find a way inside. They may have noticed the big, yellow light sensor attached to the front of the statue. In order to activate it, they'll need to point a Zonai device mirror at it. Thankfully, there are some nearby. Once they have one, players should stand on a platform near the Statue, then point the mirror at it. As long as the sun is up, players can get a ray to stream from the mirror and hit the sensor. This will open the door to the cave in the statue's face.
Once inside, players will need to take down a handful of Gibdos and flying Gibdos, so they will want to make sure to bring some lightning weapons or shock fruit to make them vulnerable. Behind all these enemies is a small shrine containing the treasure chest with Tingle's Hood inside.
How to Get Tingle's Tights in Tears of the Kingdom
Next, players can find Tingle's Tights in the Mount Dunsel area. If players look at the far southeast of the map, where the Lurelin Village is located, they will find a long cliff called Cape Cales.
If players stand on the end of Cape Cales' northern edge, they will be able to jump down into the water near a cave. They should aim to fall to the north, then look around the edges of the water for planks and Zonai fans to make a little raft with Link's Ultrahand ability. After doing so, they'll need to keep heading around the northern part of the water until a cave entrance appears. The entrance is underwater, so players will need to look along where the cliff meets the water to find it. The opening is located at 3627, -3216, 0000.
After locating the entrance to the cave, players should turn the raft to sail into the opening. This will bring players to an impenetrable wall. In order to get inside, players need to hit down on the D-pad to whistle, which will open the door.
Once inside, players should look for the giant ship and then kill all of the enemies on it.
Behind some nearby crates, players will find a chest with Tingle's Tights inside.
How to Get Tingle's Shirt in Tears of the Kingdom
The last piece of the Tingle Armor is Tingle's Shirt, which is located in one of the two Dueling Peaks caves that are located between the two peaks. In the middle, there is one to the north and one to the south in the gap.
If Tears of the Kingdom players head into the northern cave, located at 1191, -1864, 0157, they will find a puzzle solution on the ceiling. When players head into the southern Dueling Peaks Cave, located a little higher up than the northern cave at 1183, 01946, 0246, they will need to recreate the puzzle answer by placing rocks onto certain pressure plates.
This will cause a wall at the back of the chamber to move out of the way, allowing players to open the chest behind it and get their hands on the final piece of TotK's Tingle Armor set: Tingle's Shirt.
