Although The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features tons of returning content, items, and armor sets from Breath of the Wild, there are many new items that players will need to familiarize themselves with during Link's latest adventure. One of these items, Brightbloom Seeds, are incredibly important as they help players navigate the darker areas of "Breath of the Wild 2," including the new Depths underworld that is pitch black in most places.

Where To Find Brightbloom Seeds In Tears Of The Kingdom
Thankfully, finding Brightbloom Seeds is actually pretty easy and they're abundant throughout the lands of Hyrule. These brightly-colored white-hued seeds can be found on special flowers that jut from the ground, walls, and sometimes ceiling of the many Caves present in Tears of the Kingdom. Players that need to get their hands on Brightbloom Seeds can simply find a cave and pluck the light-giving items by walking up to them and pressing A. It's a good idea to explore any nearby Caves that players see to get their hands on the seeds and always ensure they have a hefty supply of them should they find themselves in a dark area.
How To Use Brightbloom Seeds In Tears Of The Kingdom
Players can activate a Brightbloom Seed by simply throwing it. Unfortunately, holding and dropping the seed isn't enough to activate its light and players need to physically throw it to make it open. To do this, they'll need to hold the R button and then hold UP on the D-Pad to access their throwing inventory. From there, they can select the Brightbloom Seed to throw it and whatever surface it hits, it will bloom into a bright light.
Alternatively, players can attach a Brightbloom Seed to an arrow to send its light even further into the darkness. To do so, they'll need to hold ZR to pullout ther bow, then once again hold UP on the D-Pad and select the Brightbloom Seed to attach it to an arrow, which they can then shoot at any surface. Players will sometimes find Large Brightbloom Seeds, which act just like their smaller counterparts but emit more light when used.
