Microsoft will remove six titles from its Xbox Game Pass library on June 15, meaning that subscribers only have a couple of weeks to try them out as part of the service. Xbox Game Pass has become a major draw for Microsoft's gaming division over the past few years, as it allows players to sample a vast assortment of games on Xbox consoles and PC for a small monthly fee. New games are added every month, with the latest Xbox Game Pass titles including indie gems Chicory: A Colorful Tale and Farworld Pioneers.

However, just as new games are brought to Xbox Game Pass, others are removed to make room for the latest additions. May saw plenty of titles disappear from the Xbox Game Pass catalog, including Before We Leave, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition, Lawn Mowing Simulator, and even the day one Game Pass title Evil Genius 2: World Domination. Some of these titles were only available on certain platforms, which softened the blow for subscribers that only played on consoles or PC, while others had their absence felt across all Xbox Game Pass-compatible systems.

June is now just a few days away, and with the new month comes new games for Xbox Game Pass. Unfortunately, it also means that some games are leaving the service, with Microsoft sharing this information via its first-wave announcement. Bridge Constructor Portal, Chorus, Maneater, Mortal Shell, and Serious Sam 4 will be removed from consoles, PC, and cloud services, while Total War: Three Kingdoms will disappear from Game Pass’s PC offerings.

  • Bridge Constructor Portal (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Chorus (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Maneater (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Mortal Shell (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Serious Sam 4 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Total War: Three Kingdoms (PC)

These latest Xbox Game Pass removals cover a wide range of gameplay genres, but they all have their fair share of fans. 2020’s Maneater turned many heads by letting players control a hungry shark, while Chorus was released to little fanfare in late 2021 and put players in the role of a futuristic space pilot and her sentient spaceship. Bridge Constructor Portal is a spin-off to the hit Portal franchise that tasks players with connecting their portals with bridges, while Mortal Shell is a dark action RPG set in a medieval world. Lastly, Total War: Three Kingdoms brings the popular tactical strategy franchise to ancient China for the first time.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers who wish to try out these titles will only have a few more days, as all of them will disappear from the service on June 15. On the plus side, Xbox Game Pass will have new additions in June 2023 like Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengeance of the Slayer and Amnesia: The Bunker all month long.
