The Latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 update brought several nerfs to a couple of fan-favorite rifles that will make them less viable in competitive settings. Call of Duty players have been busy with all the new content brought in this new season, and many players are still looking to unlock all the tiers in the latest Battle Pass, but what they did not account for was that two of the newest rifles got hit with more nerfs this time.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded brought lots of content to both games, and since its release on May 10, thousands of players have been unlocking the new Battle Pass, testing new weapons, trying new operators, and completing the new challenges added in the major update. Call of Duty's new season brought more than a few weapons as developers added new game modes, maps, and balance changes, mixing the game's current meta and forcing competitive players to change their loadouts and test new options. Unfortunately, for Assault Rifle and Battle Rifle enthusiasts, the game's developers decided to make some changes to two fan-favorite rifles.

On May 31, the official Infinity Ward Twitter account shared the official patch notes for the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 update. According to the update patch notes, the ISO Hemlock and the Cronen Squall received a couple of balance changes regarding their damage output, fire rate, and recoil. After this update, The ISO Hemlock will deal reduced damage to armor, and the Cronen Squall's headshot multiplier and damage will be reduced, besides the increase in its semi-auto recoil and decrease in the semi-auto fire rate. This is not the first time developers nerfed the ISO Hemlock, and it may not be the last, as many players are still using the assault rifle as their preferred choice in most game modes.

The rest of the patch notes list many UI/UX fixes and some Call of Duty: Warzone 2 bug fixes. Unfortunately, Call of Duty developers have not fixed the current connection issue many players face in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, so gamers will have to wait until the game's developer implements a solution and ends the problem.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2's developer still has content under its sleeve, but that has not stopped gamers from talking about the new Call of Duty game coming in 2023. Many gamers are still unhappy about the current state of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, but the game's developers are still working hard on implementing fixes and adding more content to the game.
