A new leak from Genshin Impact has revealed several buffs coming to its Genius Invokation TCG game mode with the Version 3.8 update, including five Character Cards. Since the release of the TCG for the HoYoverse RPG late last year, the developer has made frequent changes to the game mode throughout the following updates. Genius Invokation TCG has not only added a variety of new cards for players to add to their decks, but also made balance changes to pre-existing cards as well. Now, multiple Character Cards are set to receive buffs during the next update.
While Genshin Impact's Version 3.7 brought with it a massive update to the in-game TCG, Version 3.8 is expected to add even more new cards. Leaks have suggested the TCG will add three new Character Cards during Version 3.8 with Kazuha, Yanfei, and Candace added to the game. The update will also reportedly bring two new Arcane Legend cards as well as other new Talent and Equipment cards. Now, several popular Character Cards are also reportedly seeing boosts to their power levels for the new patch.
A new update shared by Genshin Impact leaker Celestia_ge via Japanese leaker Maltose reveals several buffs coming to Genius Invokation TCG. Multiple characters will be receiving changes to the cost of their Elemental Burst, with both Yoimiya and Beidou seeing their Burst cost reduced to 3. Beidou's Elemental Skill will also see a boost to its damage, increasing from 2 up to 3 damage for Version 3.8. Xiangling's Elemental Burst will also be receiving a slight buff with the ability's base damage increased to 3.
Genius Invokation TCG Version 3.8 Changes
- Yoimiya: Elemental Burst cost reduced to 3
- Beidou: Elemental Burst cost reduced to 3, Elemental Skill damage increased to 3
- Xiangling: Elemental Burst damage increased to 3
- Razor: Elemental Burst cost reduced to 2, Elemental Burst damage reduced to 3
- Eula: Elemental Skill "Grimheart" proc damage increased to 5, Elemental Burst now generates 3 Zeal stacks
- I Got Your Back (Noelle Talent Card): Now maintains healing as long as the shield is up
Razor and Eula will also see changes to their gameplay with Genshin Impact's newest update alongside another character's Talent Card. Razor will see similar Burst changes by dropping its Energy Cost to 2, although its damage will be cut to 3 from its current 5. While Eula won't see any cost changes, several parts of her kit will receive buffs with her Elemental Skill's "Grimheart" proc damage raised and her Burst's Zeal stacks increased. Noelle's Talent card will also receive a buff to its healing potential, maintaining healing as long as the shield is up.
Since its debut in Version 3.3, Genius Invokation TCG has quickly become one of Genshin Impact's most popular permanent game modes. The recently released Version 3.7's flagship event focuses around the "King of Invokations Grand Prix," a massive in-game tournament for the card game. HoYoverse has also frequently added new ways to play the game, both with the "Heated Battle" challenges and the "Arena of Champions" PvP gauntlet. Genius Invokation TCG's popularity will surely bring more new content and ways for fans to experience the Genshin Impact card game.
