Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 has been one of the most exciting Seasons in the game's six-year-long history, with a slew of crossover events including iconic IPs like Star Wars, Attack on Titan, and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, some exciting new points of interest, and a ton of new weapons and vehicles. But all good things must come to an end, and for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, that end is almost in sight.

Set to finish on Friday, June 9, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 will bring the game's cyberpunk, futuristic theme to a triumphant close, paving the way for what comes next. Though nothing's been officially confirmed by Epic Games just yet, there have been a number of leaks and rumors over the last few weeks, a few of which actually look quite plausible. If they are true, then Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 could end up being even more exciting than Season 2.

What Fans Might See In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3

Fortnite Summer

While leaks should always be taken with a sizable pinch of salt, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3's recent rumblings do come from some fairly reputable sources, renowned for their previous Fortnite claims that have ended up coming true. Though there have been a variety of sources over the last month or so, the two biggest names associated with these Fortnite leaks are ShiinaBR and HYPEX, both of which have been extremely popular sources of both official and non-official Fortnite news for the longest time.

According to these leaks, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 is ditching the previous Season's futuristic aesthetic in favor of a more prehistoric look. It's alleged that Fortnite's map will undergo yet another significant overhaul, this time with a tropical biome taking center stage. This tropical biome will apparently include a large jungle area, filled with rich foliage, a desert area, and some kind of volcanic region. Though it hasn't been confirmed just where this tropical biome will be placed, it seems likely that Fortnite's Mega City, and potentially its surrounding Japanese-inspired areas, could be on the chopping block.

This rumored tropical area will also apparently be accompanied by a variety of hunting and dinosaur-themed additions. One of the biggest additions will apparently be ridable Velociraptors, which have technically already appeared in Fortnite all the way back in December 2021 during Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 6, though these new dino iterations will probably have some unique quirks of their own. Helicopters will also allegedly make their return in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3, this time with grenade launchers fused onto the front. A number of new hunting-themed weapons could also be coming to Fortnite, including a lever action pistol, lever action rifle, thermal bolt action sniper, and Mythic drum shotgun.

As is the case with every new Fortnite Season, Chapter 4 Season 3 is set to receive a brand new Battle Pass. With this upcoming Season being Fortnite's annual Summer celebration, a few Battle Pass skins will apparently see some series staples get a new Summer-themed makeover, with Meowcsles being one that the leaks have directly stated. It's also been heavily rumored that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3's Battle Pass will include Transformers' own Optimus Prime as well. With Transformers: Rise of the Beasts coming out very soon, and Fortnite usually having at least one crossover skin in its Battle Pass, Optimus Prime seems like a likely contender to get his own skin this Season, along with a handful of other possible cosmetic rewards like a Harvesting Tool and emblem.
