It’s hard to not get lost in the massive world of Hogwarts Legacy thanks to the sheer amount of spells, potions, puzzles, and quests. When it comes to quests, it's split into two types; the main ones that are crucial for story progression, and side quests that aid players in building a stronger connection with NPCs. In the side quest, players will help NPCs solve their problems to receive generous rewards.
Ghost of Our Love is a side quest in Hogwarts Legacy, introduced to players after accepting a certain request from Ollivander in Hogsmeade. The quest itself is not particularly hard or time-consuming, but it does require solving the secret of a mysterious map to reach the correct location.
How To Complete Ghost Of Our Love Quest In Hogwarts Legacy
To complete the Ghost of Our Love side quest in Hogwarts Legacy, players need to trigger the quest by picking up a map and then finding the location drawn on it. Upon closer inspection, the map shows four different clues:
- The forest on the left corner with a crescent moon indicates the time, which is at night.
- The Forbidden Forest entrance drawn in the top right corner of the map indicates the location.
- The wand in the middle hints at Lumos to make candles appear.
- The bridge at the bottom of the map is where supposedly the candles will spawn upon using Lumos.
With these clues in mind, follow these simple steps:
- If it’s daytime, open the Map section and change the time to nightfall.
- Fast Travel to the Forbidden Forest’s waypoint that’s near the entrance, which is southwest of Hogsmeade on the World Map.
- Turn around to see a stone bridge.
- Walk towards the bridge and cast Lumos once the protagonist is close enough.
After that, a bunch of floating candles will appear and players have to follow them into the Forbidden Forest until they reach a clearing full of candles and a table for two which is basked in a romantic glow.
Shortly after, a chest suddenly appears containing an outfit, which marks the end of the side quest, Ghost of Our Love. The protagonist gets 400 Galleons and 180 XP as rewards in Hogwarts Legacy.
How To Trigger Ghost Of Our Love Quest In Hogwarts Legacy
To trigger the Ghost of Our Love side quest in Hogwarts Legacy, make sure to progress through the main quests until Ollivander’s Heirloom becomes available. The Wandmaker asks players to retrieve a stolen wand and guides them to the Owlery, as the person who stole it left a puzzle there.
While trying to investigate the Owlery and looking for the missing pieces of the puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy, use the ladder to climb higher. On the left side of the tower floor is a piece of paper on the ground, which is actually the map that triggers the Ghost of Our Love side quest.
