One thing is for sure, players will find a lot of entertainment in Hogwarts Legacy. But, to be able to have fun, the student must first master the art of spell casting. There are several methods to learn spells in Hogwarts Legacy; one of those ways is through professors’ assignments.
They give the students tasks related to their class subjects before teaching them the rewarded spell. In this case, Glacius is a Control spell that can be extremely useful in combat since it offers utilities like breaking enemies’ yellow shields and freezing enemies' movement for a few seconds.
How To Learn Glacius In Hogwarts Legacy
As players progress in the main story and finish The Map Chamber Main quest in Hogwarts Legacy, Madam Kogawa will send the student an Owl Post telling them it’s time to learn Glacius the freezing spell. Madam Kogawa will give the student an assignment of popping 10 balloons with their brooms located over Hogsmeade and around the Quidditch Pitch.
After popping all the balloons, players can go back to Madam Kogawa’s office in Hogwarts Castle to report back. She will then teach the student how to cast the Glacius spell in Hogwarts Legacy and the assignment quest will be over.
All Balloons Locations over Hogsmeade Station In Hogwarts Legacy
Most of the balloons are located in obvious places that players can easily notice. However, some are hidden and need a little more searching. The first balloon in Hogsmeade Station is in the middle of the area, players can easily fly through it with their Broom to pop it.
The second balloon is located more to the north at the edge of the quest’s circle on the mini-map in Hogwarts Legacy.
The third balloon is also in the middle but a bit higher than most other balloons. Players can focus more on the east to find it hanging there.
The fourth balloon can be found south, at the end of the quest’s circle on the mini-map. It has the same height as the third balloon.
The last balloon in Hogsmeade Station is trickier than the others. Players can find the balloon mid-air at a low range, hanging southeast of the quest’s circle on the mini-map. The area is filled with trees, so it’s recommended to look closely to find it.
All Balloons Locations around the Quidditch Pitch In Hogwarts Legacy
Just like in Hogsmeade Station, the first balloon is stationed in the middle of the Pitch.
The second balloon is the highest among all others, located southwest of the quest’s circle on the mini-map.
The third balloon is also in an obvious location, north of the quest’s circle in Hogwarts Legacy.
The last two balloons are where it gets a little tricky. The fourth balloon can be found west of the mini-map, outside the Pitch.
The last balloon is also outside the Quidditch Pitch, southeast of the mini-map. The balloon this time is at a low height, so it might be harder to pop.
