Set somewhere in the late 19th century, the game puts players in the shoes of a fifth-year student at Hogwarts. The Maxima potion is a very useful potion to carry around as it allows players to deal greater damage with their spells for a limited period. When facing beasts, the Maxima potion can even the battlefield by allowing players to dish out heavy hits. This potion costs about 500 Galleons and takes thirty seconds to brew.
The ingredients for making a Maxima Potion are one Leech Juice and one Spider Fang. This potion will prove especially useful against enemies that have a lot of hit points.

Ever since seeing Harry and Ron become invisible using Harry's invisibility cloak, fans always wanted to know what it felt like. Fortunately for them, Hogwarts Legacy has just the potion. The invisibility potion is just one of the many potions found in Hogwarts Legacy, and, upon consumption, it turns the player invisible for a brief period.
This potion is more suited for players with a more stealthy play style. The recipe for the invisibility potion costs 500 Galleons. The ingredients include one Leaping Toadstool Cap, one Knotgrass Sprig, and one Troll Bogey, and it takes one minute to brew.
1 Thunderbrew Potion
The Thunderbrew potion may be the best potion in Hogwarts Legacy, at least in terms of naming. This weird drink is a very powerful potion, as upon consumption, it summons a thunderstorm that surrounds the player. The thunderstorm then acts as a barrier, damaging all beasts and enemies that dare approach the player.
The Thunderbrew potion takes the longest time to be brewed at one minute and thirty seconds. The ingredients for making this potion include one Leech Juice, one Shrivelfig Fruit, and one Stench of the Dead, and the recipe costs 1,200 Gold.
