Hogwarts Legacy follows a young fifth-year student on their journey to stop a power-obsessed goblin from waging war on wizardkind. Shortly after they arrive at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, they will be given a chance to explore the vast world outside the castle's walls and uncover the secret Battle Arenas hidden throughout.

Since only a small number of Battle Arenas exist in Hogwarts Legacy, players will likely struggle with locating each of them. To make matters even more difficult, accessing a Battle Arena requires the player to complete a puzzle. The puzzles are relatively easy to complete, but the enemies waiting inside these Battle Arenas are usually incredibly powerful.

What Are Battle Arenas?

The Battle Arenas in Hogwarts Legacy task players with defeating multiple waves of powerful enemies. While they can be accessed quite early in the game, it is better to interact with them only when the player believes they are ready to take on some of the game's most dangerous foes.

Though players will likely have come across different variations of the enemies that appear in Battle Arenas, they should approach each arena with caution, as the foes waiting inside can pack a considerable punch. With this in mind, players should ensure to have only their best gear equipped before entering and should acquire as many Wiggenweld Potions as they can carry.

Finding a Battle Arena in Hogwarts Legacy can take some time if players don't know where to begin looking, but unlocking one can be even harder; to enter a Battle Arena, all the vases littered around each area need to be destroyed. Upon doing so, interacting with the statue in the ruin will initiate a pretty challenging enemy rush.

If players have yet to purchase the Dark Arts Pack DLC, they will only be able to access two Battle Arenas during their playthrough. Those who have obtained the DLC, however, can travel to the Dark Arts Battle Arena and experience a series of battles that require them to make use of the Unforgivable Curses.

Only the North Ford Bog and Feldcroft Battle Arenas need to be bested in order for players to obtain the Rising to the Challenges trophy and achievement, so players can feel free to ignore the Dark Arts Battle Arena if they are simply hoping to platinum the game.

Feldcroft Battle Arena Location

The Feldcroft Battle Arena can be found by fast-traveling to Irondale and speaking with Althea Twiddle. Althea will inform the protagonist of a ruin just southwest of Irondale that she believes harbors a fascinating secret. This will commence the E-Vase-Ive Manoevre side quest, while also allowing the player to access the first Battle Arena.

Upon reaching the ruins southwest of Ironsdale, the player will need to destroy twenty vases in order to interact with the nearby statue and unlock the Feldcroft Battle Arena.

North Ford Bog Battle Arena Location

To find the location of the North Ford Bog Battle Arena, the player should fast-travel to the East North Ford Bog Floo Flame and travel north.

When they come across the ruins containing the Battle Arena, they will need to destroy the twenty vases scattered around the area before they can interact with the statue and initiate the battles.

Dark Arts Battle Arena Location

Players who have purchased the Dark Arts Pack DLC can find the Dark Arts Battle Arena by fast-traveling to the East North Hogwarts Region Floo Flame and traveling northeast.

Once the ruins have been located, the player will need to destroy the ten vases scattered around the area. After the vases have been smashed, interacting with the statue will unlock the Battle Arena.

Hogwarts Legacy is available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. PS4 and Xbox One versions will release on April 4, and a Switch version will release on July 25.
