Hogwarts Legacy tells the story of a young fifth-year student during their first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Upon arriving at the famed wizarding school, the player will be required to attend various classes and complete tasks before they can explore the world outside the castle's walls, where they can find a variety of unique locations.

While a great portion of Hogwarts Legacy's map can be reached via broomstick, flying directly to Poidsear Coast is impossible. Because of this, some players might think accessing Poidsear Coast requires them to complete a particular quest, but this isn't the case. Poidsear Coast can actually be reached quite easily, but figuring out how can be a little tricky.

While examining the world map, players will see that Poidsear Coast is actually pretty close to the South Sea Bog. Unlike the South Sea Bog, however, the player will not be able to fly a broom to Poidsear Coast due to the mountains and walls blocking the way forward. Though the map showcases that there is a great deal of exploring to be done at Poidsear Coast and all the areas southeast of it, the game doesn't explicitly state how to reach them.

The player needs to travel to Poidsear Coast at various points of the game in order to progress the main story and begin certain side quests, and though it might seem impossible, there is actually a pretty simple way to get there.

If players have used their broom to explore the world of Hogwarts Legacy, they may have noticed that they cannot fly to the southeast section of the map; whenever they get close, a glowing orange wall will appear, preventing them from flying any further. While some may think this implies the area is inaccessible, there is actually a way to reach it by flying south to Medium Bandit Camp, dismounting the broom, and traveling through the cave leading northeast.

Inside this cave-like mine system awaits several aggressive goblins and Ogbert the Odd, one of the twenty-one Infamous Foes available to fight in Hogwarts Legacy. Ogbert the Odd is a level 20 enemy, so players who feel they are not strong enough to take him on should continue leveling their character until they are confident they can beat him.

That said, it is possible to travel through the Coastal Cave without getting detected thanks to the Disillusionment charm. This charm will allow players to go unseen by enemies, so long as they are not standing in their direct line of sight. This charm can also be used to sneak by Ogbert the Odd to reach the Floo Flame at the exit with ease, so those who are under-leveled and still wish to reach Poidsear Coast can get there pretty handily.
