Marunweem Lake has a total of 11 Treasure Vaults that can be found scattered around the Region in Hogwarts Legacy. Three particular vaults out of the 11 are surrounding the Marunweem Ruins.
The Marunweem Ruins is one of the first locations players can gain access to from Poidsear Coast in Hogwarts Legacy. Since the Treasure Vault’s icon doesn’t appear on the map unless the area is discovered, unlocking the ruins’ Floo Flame will reveal three Treasure Vaults that can be reached easily from said Floo Flame. Solving the puzzles inside the Treasure Vaults would require some spells that can be easily obtained early-game. For example, players will need Accio or Depulso for the puzzles and some offensive spells like Incendio and Confringo to take care of a couple of enemies.
Marunweem Ruins Treasure Vaults And How To Open Them In Hogwarts Legacy
The three Treasure Vaults can be found around Marunweem Ruins Floo Flame in Hogwarts Legacy. The dungeons are not particularly hard to find, but there is a decent distance between them.
Treasure Vault #1
The first Treasure Vault’s entrance is on top of the mountain, south of the Marunweem Ruins Floo Flame. It’s possible to reach it using two methods; fly up to the top by mounting a Broom or a flying mount in Hogwarts Legacy, or climb the slope southwest and proceed forward to the entrance.
Once players are at the top next to the Merlin Trial, a small group of Poachers will be waiting to ambush players. When all the enemies are taken care of, head north to find the vault’s entrance behind some barrels.
Go down the stairs to see a locked door that requires Alohomora II. To learn the spell, protagonists must collect nine Demiguise Statues in Hogwarts Legacy and deliver them back to Gladwin Moon. Enter the newly opened room and open the treasure chest.
Treasure Vault #2
Go back to Marunweem Ruins and run east. The student will have to circle the mountain to the south to find the second Treasure Vault’s entrance. It will be blocked by piles of rocks and wood, so use Depulso to remove the debris out of the way and head inside. The treasure chest can be found in the deepest part of the cave.
Treasure Vault #3
The third and final Treasure Vault is found west of the Marunweem Ruins waypoint. Simply walk west from the Floo Flame and jump into the waters. After that, approach the vortex and dive to resurface inside the vault.
Swim inside the cave to reach a closed gate with a lever on the wall next to it. Equip Accio on the spell set and cast it to pull the lever and open the gate. Head inside to claim not one but two treasure chests in Hogwarts Legacy.
