The South Sea Bog in Hogwarts Legacy has plenty of secrets for players to locate around the wetlands of the region, regardless of it being slightly smaller than most explorable locations throughout the game. These secrets include the four Treasure Vaults hiding around the map, with each requiring the player to keep their wits about them to be able to access the treasures and loot hiding - sometimes in plain sight.
Though the South Sea Bog is small, its puzzles are definitely mighty - Hogwarts Legacy players should be anywhere between the levels of 20 and 40 to prepare themselves fully for when they explore the region. Similarly, a small range of spells are necessary to find the treasure within the Treasure Vaults hidden around the area. These spells include Accio, Depulso, Glacius, Wingardium Leviosa, and Alohomora III.
Treasure Vault #1
This treasure vault can be located towards the south of the South Sea Bog and south of the Northern South Sea Bog Floo Flame. It is also slightly east of an Inferni Lair. This vault also requires the player to have access to either Accio or Depulso to be able to get into the treasure.
To access the vault, players should use either of the aforementioned Accio or Depulso spells to open the door to the vault. After getting the doors open, the reward will be waiting inside.
Treasure Vault #2
Found near the East South Sea Bog Floo Flame in the southeast of the region, this Treasure Vault will require the player to know both Wingardium Leviosa and Glacius.
Firstly, players should head to the small field to the southwest of the entrance of the vault where they will find a cube waiting for them - Revelio will help here if the cube is difficult to find. After locating the cube, use Wingardium Leviosa to help move the cube onto the plate that sits in front of the vault. Once it's in place, players should cast Glacius on the cube to open the vault.
Once the vault is open and the player has headed inside, they'll find a pile of skeletal remains in the area to the farthest right in the room. Destroying this blockade will cause them to collapse, but using Wingardium Leviosa will form them into a staircase that the player can then use to access the treasure waiting at the top.
Treasure Vault #3
This treasure vault is located near the centre of the South Sea Bog region, and can be found a little southeast of the Northern South Sea Bog Floo Flame. No spells are entirely necessary, but Depulso might be useful for players to know beforehand.
Once players reach the location of this treasure vault, they'll notice a large pile of rocks blocking the entryway to the vault. All they need to do is break the rocks - once they've been broken, players can get inside the vault and take the treasure waiting for them.
Treasure Vault #4
The final vault is located underground in the far reaches of the South Sea Bog region, far down south from the Northern South Sea Bog Floo Flame. This vault will also require players to know the spell Alohomora III - without this, players won't be able to gain entry at all.
Once players have made their way to the vault, they should use the Alohomora III spell to pick the lock of the door. Inside the room that the door unlocks, there will be a mini-whirlwind in the middle of the room with an archway on either side of it. Players need to walk directly into the whirlwind, and then head towards the archway on the right. Follow the next whirlwind from there and another, third whirlwind will appear before the archway on the left. Catching the final whirlwind will make the treasure appear.
