Once Hogwarts Legacy players start getting into battles outside the academy, they will occasionally see Dueling Feats appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen. These challenges aren't required, but completing them during a fight can give players bonus XP towards leveling up and some neat cosmetic items. Some of them are more difficult than others, though, such as the Dueling Feat that asks players to flip a troll's club into its face. It's not exactly clear how to do this, so this guide will help players out.
Updated on May 5, 2023: Completing Dueling Feats in Hogwarts Legacy is optional, but they reward players with XP and neat items for dressing up players' students. One of the feats that give players trouble requires them to flip a trolls club into its face, so this guide will show Harry Potter fans how it can be easily completed.
How to Flip a Troll's Club into Its Face in Hogwarts Legacy
We've embedded a video below of us completing the Dueling Feat in Hogwarts Legacy, which should make it much easier to figure out. Basically, while fighting the troll, players must avoid its attacks and wait until it performs a specific move. The troll will slam its club on the ground, and it will momentarily stay in that position. Once the troll misses the slam attack, players will need to cast Flipendo quickly --that's all there is to it.
Once the troll gets hit in the face by its own club, it'll be stunned for a few seconds, allowing wizards and witches an opportunity to deal some major damage without worrying about a counterattack.
The Force Spell, Flipendo, is taught to players after completing the second assignment from Professor Garlick, the Herbology professor at Hogwarts. She will ask players to grow and harvest Fluxweed and to use all three combat plants (Mandrake, Chomping Cabbage, and Venemous Tentacula) at the same time in a combat scenario.
Rewards for Completing Dueling Feats
After completing Dueling Feats, Hogwarts Legacy players can check out the Challenges section of the menu to redeem some cosmetic items. The first two items players can get are part of an Officer's clothing set, and then they can earn a neat pumpkin mask, an autumnal coat, and a Demiguise mask. Once 42 Dueling Feats are completed, all rewards will be earned.
